Written in 1884 by Edwin A Abbott, Flatland is a marvelous novel about a 2 dimensional world, written from the perspective of a resident of Flatland on a consciousness expanding journey of his own.

If you ever dream of bigger, vaster, more amazing realities than this one, and have not come across Flatland before, I highly recommend it!

Overview of Focus Levels (The Monroe Institute)

"For those unfamiliar with the focus levels a little background is in order. The story goes back to Robert A. Monroe, who began to experience involuntary Out of Body Experiences (OBE) in 1957.
